Applications are now open for the Copyright Agency Partnership Grant at Edith Cowan University Gallery (ECUG). The initiative, scheduled for 2027, is a collaboration between Edith Cowan University Gallery and Copyright Agency Partnerships (CAP) to support major new commissions by mid-career and established visual artists across Australia.
About the Grant
Through a competitive application process, one visual artist or artist collective will be selected to create and present a major new commissioned work. The selected project will be showcased in an exhibition running 12 February – 7 May 2027 at ECU Gallery.
The recipient will also take part in a one-month residency in Perth, providing time and space to develop their project.
Artists working across all visual media and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Mid-career and established artists are generally those who have built a sustained independent practice over several years and have achieved notable recognition within their field.
